For 2008, our first edition, we honored two extremely rich musical
traditions that have shaped the cultural landscape of the US.
Two people united beyond language and ethnicity by a common history
of discrimination and oppression: Rroma and African-Americans.

you in a cross-Atlantic dialogue between Blues and the Balkans.
